i figured out if i just make “random” movements with my mouse and create “random” shapes u can begin to put stuff together and ideas come to you while doing it easilly, granted they are no way near as good as this stuff but its a start

@RagnaDragonis He is using a tablet, as can be seen by the somewhat shaky mouse movement when selecting the color for the eyes.
@matijatu Yes it is, although it is admittedly quite a bit harder and requires an entirely different stile of drawing (in general it is more subtractive than additive)

everything used in the dvd is open source (and by that i mean free), and you can get alchemy just by searching on google. 3rd hit on my comp.

I was almost buying this DVD but I decided not to, for I think this is not for me (maybe this felling is just about this content.
I still believe they (blender foundation) got some other videos/training for beginners like me
